    Doc. PhDr. Jaroslav Voráček, CSc.
   

Graduated in Linguistics from Charles University in Prague. Spent all his life teaching at agricultural schools, since 1962 at Czech University of Agriculture in Prague. Two years lecturer at Birmingham University UK, one year in London, one year in Uppsala, Sweden. Participant in the Teacher Development Program at the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1993, and Ohio State University in Columbus in 1998. In 1990 appointed Vice Rector for International Relations, in 1992 Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management. In 1993 -1997 worked as Director of Prince of Wales Business Leaders Forum in Prague.

 
    PhDr. Michal Lošták, Ph.D.
   

Associate professor of the Department of Humanities. Graduated in Sociology from The State University of Minsk, PhD at The faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague. Ten years experience in rural development in the Czech Republic and other post communist countries. Restructuring, privatization and transformation of Czech and other post-communist countries” agriculture, with focus on the impact of such changes on rural communities. From February 2003 – Vice-Dean for International Relations.

 
    PhDr. Jana Bischofová
   

Graduated in Czech and English, majoring in Czech Language and Literature from Charles University in Prague. Lecturer of the Institute of Slavonic Studies, The Faculty of Arts, Charles University. In 1991 – 1993, lecturing at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Czech Language and Literature (CIES Fulbright scholarship). In the academic years 1998/1999, 1999/2000 and 2000/2001, she taught Czech Language at Seoul University, South Korea.

Associate Professor of the Department of Agricultural Economics, lecturing in Agricultural Policy and Agribusiness. Member of the Faculty Academic Senate and chairwoman of the Study Programme MSc. Agricultural Economics and Management.

 
 
    Doc. Ing. Jiří Cibulka, DrSc.
   

Specialized in Animal Physiology. Graduated at the Faculty of Agronomy, Czech University of Agriculture Prague (now CULS). Associated Professor at the Department of Veterinary Sciences. Currently, he deals with environmental issues related to agriculture. His past research was focused on heavy metals (Cd, Pb, Hg) toxicity in animals, he also coordinates extensive biological monitoring in Northern Bohemia (landscape devastation due to strip mining for brown coal). English Language is his hobby – translation of several books (pets, gardening, angling, etc.) and many professional articles.

    Robert Carter Graduated from George Washington University in 1989 with a BA in International Affairs and then got his MBA from Catholic University in Leuven Belgium. After graduating from Catholic University he worked for ZOND Wind Power on site development in France for a short time, then from 1995 to 1996 he worked in Sales and Marketing at ArtNet an early on line art auction information service. In 1996 he moved to the Czech Republic to work for Interpost, a division of the Dutch Post office. In 1997 he started Bohemia Flowers in the Czech Republic then in 2000 started Bohemia Flowers in Poland. Do to some tactical errors he was forced to close the Czech office and put all of his attention on the company in Poland and is now expanding into Hungary.
